I was treated to a Father's Day ride-along in a NASCAR sedan at the California Speedway in Fontana, California.
It was an experience I'll never forget.

That is so cool! How fast did you go?
They said we were going about 180 MPH in the straightaways. It definitely felt different than riding on the freeway.
My wife usually drives because she's a bad passenger (she says) - so when I got out, I told her "That was FUN - I'm driving home!" Got a big laugh.
The obvious question is... did you drive home?

No - I didn't drive home - I like to keep her happy, and if she drives, she's happy. Added bonus: I can crochet while she drives!
